Doylestown · Bucks County, PA

Sim racing for
Bucks County.

Seven pro-grade full-motion simulators just over the county line in Lansdale, a short drive from Doylestown, and a lot closer than Center City. Coached seat time, corporate events, and walk-in sessions for people who've never touched a race wheel.

What's actually here

Not an arcade.
A motorsport facility.

There's a difference between a simulator you sit in and a simulator that teaches you something. Every rig at SKR is full motion, with an active belt system that loads your body under braking and cornering, so you learn what the car is doing, not just where the corner is.

Direct-drive wheelbases. Hydraulic load-cell pedals. Triple 43-inch displays, Dolby 5.1, wind simulation. iRacing's circuits are laser-scanned and its cars are officially licensed. It's the same software professional drivers train on.

Questions

Before you book.

Do I need any racing experience?

No. Most first-time drivers have never used a race wheel. Every session, whatever the length, starts with the same walk-through (seat position, pedal feel, braking points), and you get light coaching on your first visit and any time you're struggling. Plenty of people show up having never driven a manual car.

How is this different from an F1 arcade or a VR place?

Scale and purpose. Arcade venues are built around food, drinks, and short head-to-head races. SKR is built around seat time: seven full-motion rigs, sessions up to two hours, private coaching with telemetry review, a broadcast league and a Friday race night. If you want to get faster, come to Lansdale.

Can kids drive?

Yes, from age 10, as long as they can reach the wheel and pedals comfortably and follow instruction. A parent or guardian must be present for anyone under 16. We adjust seat and pedal position for each driver. Younger drivers do best with a little guidance. Every first visit includes light coaching, and private one-on-one coaching is there if they want more.

What's the smallest group you'll take for a corporate event?

Three drivers. From there it scales up through seven packages to a full-facility buyout with no group-size cap. Catering coordination, custom trophies, and race coaching can be added to any of them.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, during open hours. Booking ahead is recommended, especially for groups. Most Friday evenings from 6:45 PM are race night, the Friday Night Race Series, which anyone can join.

What simulator software do you run?

iRacing, with the full car and track catalog. The circuits are laser-scanned and the cars officially licensed: over 140 circuits and 150 cars, from Miata to GT3 to NASCAR to open-wheel.

Is there a league I can join?

Two. The SKR Development League runs a full multi-week season with broadcasts. The Friday Night Race Series is casual walk-up bracket racing, about two hours, with no season commitment.
